Lips are a very important part of our beauty. Many people dream of fuller, more voluptuous lips. It is a simple, safe treatment that will enlarge small and narrow lips, adding volume, firmness, elasticity. This treatment will also help to eliminate lip asymmetry, reduce wrinkling and stop the effects of ageing.

Which part of the lip can be enlarged?

Lip augmentation is a procedure to fill the lips with a suitable filler, usually hyaluronic acid, which not only results in a visible increase in lip volume, but also allows for a gentle correction of the lip line with the simultaneous elimination of any wrinkles in the lip area, including the reduction of small smoker's wrinkles. In addition, after the lip augmentation procedure, the lips will become smoother, firmer and more intensely pigmented.

Lip augmentation can be performed in a number of ways by appropriately injecting HA filler into part of the lip:

*injecting into the redness of the lips to increase fullness
*contouring the lips-profiling the lips
*lifting the corners of the mouth and thus eliminating "marionette" wrinkles

What does a hyaluronic acid lip augmentation procedure look like?

The aesthetic practitioner interviews the patient, selects the appropriate injection product and gently massages to create the predetermined lip shape.
Lip augmentation is a procedure on a very delicate and sensitive part of the face, so it is always performed under local anaesthesia or with an anaesthetic cream applied about 15-30 minutes before the session or with dental anaesthesia, which completely eliminates discomfort and pain during the procedure.

Lip augmentation is performed by a specialist using an ampoule syringe and a very fine needle to inject a filler into the dermis. This preparation is usually hyaluronic acid, which provides a high level of nutrition and hydration of the skin. There are several injections at a time, depending on the patient's expectations. The specialist then shapes the shape of the lips with the fingers, until the desired effect is achieved. The duration of the entire lip augmentation procedure is up to 30 minutes.

Is the procedure painful?

The procedure takes place under local anaesthesia with a preparation appropriately selected by the doctor and lasts a very short time. Our doctors are appropriately trained and will take care of your comfort during the lip augmentation procedure.
Will the effect after lip augmentation be immediately visible?
After injection, the lips will be slightly swollen. The resulting swelling disappears after 2-3 days on its own, leaving beautiful, naturally shaped, firm lips with a consistent colour.
How long will I have my lips augmented?
The effect of augmented lips after treatment lasts between 6 and 12 months. This is an individual relationship, different for each person. Our treatment provides a long-lasting but not permanent result, so you are free to choose the shape according to your sense of fashion and style.

What is an HA filler?

Otherwise known as a filler, hyaluronic acid is a product often used to improve scars, wrinkles and other depressions in the skin.
It is a polysaccharide that occurs in all living organisms. It binds water, which makes the skin firm and elastic. Unfortunately, as we age, we have less and less of it. By injecting it into the wrinkles, we make up for its deficiency. As a natural product, it would be quickly absorbed into the tissues, so a synthetic equivalent that has undergone a stabilisation process is used to fill wrinkles. This process ensures that it lasts longer in the skin. It is safe, fairly durable, biodegradable and stimulates collagen production at the injection site. - It only breaks down after a year and then the treatment has to be repeated.

What type of hyaluronic acid is best for lip augmentation?

On offer SUNGATE BEAUTY & SPA we work with brand products : Stylage, Croma, Juvederm and Restylane. Each differs in the degree of stabilisation, the size of the hyaluronic acid molecules. Each of these products is laboratory-tested and certified, and is safe for our body. During an individual consultation with a doctor of aesthetic medicine, the appropriate product for the lip augmentation procedure is selected.
